DESCRIPTION:Students are protesting the Budget Cuts (more than 30 million dollars this 
 year)! The money from the California legislature simply is not adequate in 
 funding the CSU and as a result classes are being cut, teachers are being 
 fired, and over-crowding within the classrooms are post-poning 
 registration. Students are going to take a stance in opposing the 
 deteriorating quality of our education. We will engage in a sit-in and then 
 camp out on the quad and make our voices heard! We will be there as long is 
 necessary in making sure higher-education is accessible to students of 
 color, low-income students, and incoming freshmen. Current students will 
 camp-out and hold our administration accountable. Instead of cutting our 
 education, cut the paychecks of officials making six-figures. Abolish the 
 Board of Trustees and work towards a democratic school run by students,

SUMMARY:SFSU Campus Sit-in/Sleep-in Against Budget Cuts
LOCATION:ACTION AT SAN FRANCISCO STATE UNIVERSITY: This event will take place first 
 in Science 270 at noon! From there, we will flood the campus with students 
 and take over the quad.
