 We will break at 8 p.m. and then reconvene for a discussion until 9 
 p.m.\n\nChretien will explore Marx and Lenin’s theories on the role of 
 the state in helping the capitalist class dominate the majority of the 
 populace. Chretien, a member of the National Writers Union, also ran for 
 the U.S. Senate from California on the Green Party ticket in 2006.\n\nThe 
 Marxist School of Sacramento is the sponsor of this free, public event.
