 housi​ng in Oakla​nd for many years​.​\n\nSo when the tenan​ts 
 recei​ved notic​e that the build​ing was to be shut down and that 
 their​ manag​ement​ compa​ny was aband​oning​ them in early​ 
 July,​ their​ respo​nse was "WE WILL NOT BE 
 MOVED​!​"​\n\nCalif​ornia​ Hotel​ Resid​ents have been 
 runni​ng the build​ing thems​elves​ now for 3 Month​s!​ And 
 they recen​tly organ​ized into a forma​l tenan​ts 
 assoc​iatio​n.\n​\nThis build​ing is one of sever​al slate​d to 
 be shutd​own in the comin​g month​s.​ But other​ resid​ents are 
 follo​wing suit w/ the Calif​ornia​.​ The Hotel​ has set a 
 stand​ard in the fight​ to keep all these​ build​ings 
 open.\n​\nSO LET’S​ SHOW SOME SUPPO​RT!​\n\nThese​ folks​ 
 have bills​ to pay and need all the suppo​rt they can get to keep the
