 and appropriation, racism and violence, stereotypes and typecasting. Full 
 of cameos and historical reference, it's a film designed to provoke a 
 response.\n\nFor anyone unfamiliar with the minstrel shows as but one 
 example of racist conditioning through entertainment, for those who 
 might've been made uncomfortable by Spike Lee's confrontational style, for 
 those who saw this film back when it came out and haven't had a repeat 
 viewing, for those who'll be okay if the joke is on you once or
