 subsidies, NAFTA, and the globalization of food trade.  Eric Holt-Gimenez 
 and David Bacon will speak on the roots of Mexican migration in the context 
 of globalization. \n\nEric is the executive director of Food First and has 
 worked with campesinos in Mexico, Guatemala, and Nicaragua for close to 30 
 years. David Bacon is the author of a new book, Illegal People: How 
 Globalization Creates Migration and Criminalizes Immigrants. He writes 
 about labor issues and photographed labor and migrant workers.
