 Party\n\nSaturday, 16 August  2008\n\nGray Whale Cove - near Devil's 
 Slide,\nsouth of Pacifica\n[ on Pacific coast, northern CA, south of SF 
 ]\n..... \n\nWorld Naked Beach Party Day is happening in various 
 places\naround the world on this day. Let's make this an ongoing\nyearly 
 beach gathering. \n\n.....\n\nDIRECTIONS to \nGray Whale Cove\n\nThe beach 
 is easy to get to; \nbut there may not (presently) be a sign.\n\n  The 
 drive is about half an hour from downtown San Francisco.\nFrom downtown SF, 
  get on the 280 and stay on that highway heading south/west. At some point 
 it splits... stay to the right where it says Highway 1. On Highway 1 [the 
 old coastal road, sometimes blocked by rock-slides], once you are leaving 
 Pacifica you are only about 2 to 3 miles away. You first drive through a 
 forested area, which then emerges onto a spectacular coastal road. Watch 
 out for  large parking area on the left (east side of the road [inland]); 
 and turn in there. \n\nComing south from SF-- if you get to Montara State 
 Beach, \nyou have gone too far south. \n.......\n\nWalkiing down the 
 cliff:\n\nThe trail down to the beach starts a bit north of the parking 
 lot.\nBE CAREFUL when CROSSING THE HIGHWAY,\nespecially if you are 
 distracted by carrying stuff.\n  CARS MOVE QUICKLY AROUND THOSE BENDS! 
 \n\n\nPart way down the trail,  note  the location of the porta-toilets. 
 \nThe rest of the way down is on well-built stairs. When you get down to 
 the beach, stick to the right, walking north up the beach, past the rock 
 outcrop. You have arrived!\n......\n\nDriving directions from  Santa Cruz: 
 Go northward on old highway #1, well past Half Moon Bay, and past Montara. 
 Once you pass Montara State Beach, you are getting very close. After the 
 highway goes up a hill, start to watch out for the parking lot, on your 
 right [that is,
