DESCRIPTION:WHAT: Task Force meeting of the SF BlackBrown Equitable Drug Policies
Coalition\n\nWHERE: ISARC administrative Office, host of the BlackBrown
Equitable Drug Policies Coalition, coordinated by mesha
Monge-Irizarry,\n2940 16th Street #209, corner of Capp Street in the
 "Redstone Building"; \nwheelchair accessible\n\nWHEN: Saturday 7-12-08, 2
P.M.\n\nWHY: There is a longway to go on de-prioritization of Marijuana
offenses from its ratification to implementation by various SF police
precincts especially in Poor neighborhoods of Color targeted for landgrab
abd gentrification.\nmesha will report on the various precincts not in
compliance with de-prioritization.\n\nThe meeting will also include a
strategic brainstorm towards \npublic comments this coming Tuesday at the
SF Board of Supes. regarding the deportation of AT RISK YOUTH - aka "gang
members" \n- a violation of Rights - kids are part of the Family Justice
System, not the Criminal Justice System - \n\nwe can't remain silent on
this critical issue -\n\nplease bring all info you have so we are well
prepared to defend Children/Teens Rights who are ''illegal" (undocumented)
\n\nSANCTUARIO STATUS must be inclusive - this is a terrible attack aimed
at hyping fear of Raza Youth - the easiest target, kids w/o supportive or
informed families, or being abused, especially Hondureños subject to
TORTURE upon return to their native country.\nWE WILL NOT BE ACCOMPLICE TO
 GENOCIDE.\n\nRESTORATIVE, NOT PUNITIVE JUSTICE
