DESCRIPTION:The CDFA, the Sonoma County Ag Commissioner and possibly other agencies
will give a presentation before the Sonoma County Board of
Supervisors\n\nThe CDFA's attendance is in response to actions taken by one
of the two Sonoma neighborhoods where twist ties for the light brown apple
moth where planned, which temporarily halted the twist tie program in
Sonoma county. In addition to making calls to the Board of Supervisors and
the CDFA, the residents placed yard signs reading "CDFA, No twist ties
here" in their front yards. \n\nThe CDFA plans to use the July 8 meeting to
convince Sonoma county, and residents in these two neighborhoods in
particular, that the eradication plan for the light brown apple moth and
twist tie placements in Sonoma county should go forward.\n\nPlease come and
lend your support to Sonoma residents\n\nThe public has 2-3 minutes comment
 time each:\n\nTuesday, July 8th, 2008 9:00am\n\nSupervisors
