DESCRIPTION:Viernes Cultural of Watsonville will be hosting this free event at the 
 Watsonville Downtown Plaza. The community is invited to participate in a 
 public celebration of the Watsonville cannery strike and to honor the 
 struggles of the cannery workers from 1985-1987. Participants will enjoy 
 the music, song, and poetry of local performing artists as well as invited 
 speakers. The former strikers will lead a procession at 6:30pm to the 
 Pajaro Valley Gallery . \n\nThe Pajaro Valley Gallery will also be holding 
 its Opening Reception  for the "Remembering the Struggle" art exhibit on 
 August 1st at 7pm at 37 Sudden Street, Watsonville, CA 95076.\n\nFor more
