DESCRIPTION:Wednesday, June 25, 2008, 7:00 PM\n\nThe 11th Hour (92 min)\n\nActor
Leonardo DiCaprio's documentary on the global environmental crisis paints a
portrait of a planet at risk while also offering some exciting and radical
solutions for making life on earth sustainable. Tapping the brains of
leading scientists and thinkers -- including Stephen Hawking and Mikhail
Gorbachev -- the film ultimately delivers a hopeful message: Our planet may
be in crisis, but that doesn't mean it's too late for change. \nThis is a
wonderful and important documentary. The film is full of terrifying images
and fascinating interviews from some great minds. But, luckily, it does not
spend too much time making its case about our destruction. After getting
the viewer sufficiently terrified, the film shifts its focus to the causes
of the problem and inspires viewers to go out and make a difference (and
tells them how).\n\nFree admission (donations accepted). Free popcorn.\n
