 III will make efforts to meet all\n> requests, if possible. Note: It shall

 the regular meeting of the SSCCC\n> Region III Council shall be called to 
 order to begin\n> official public business of the region.\n> \n> II.Roll 
 Call/Establishment of Quorum (5 minutes) \n> At this time, the verification 
 of local college\n> student government representatives from those\n> 
 colleges included within Region III shall be made to\n> confirm if a 
 majority of colleges within the region\n> is present in order to conduct 
 official regional\n> actions at this meeting. A minimum of eight (8) out\n> 
 of the thirteen (13) is required (SSCCC Constitution\n> Article V, Section 
 2.). If quorum is not made then\n> the meeting will continue with all 
 action items to\n> be treated as discussion only by all participants\n> 
 with all other normal parliamentary rules applying. \n> Quorum can be made 
 at any time during this meeting. \n> Minutes will be taken in either 
 case.\n> A. College Delegates\n> 1. Alameda, College of\n> 2. Berkeley City 
 (Vista) \n> 3. Cañada\n> 4. Contra Costa\n> 5. Diablo Valley\n> 6.

 \n> 13. Skyline \n> \n> III.Adoption of the Agenda \n> At this time, the 
 current agenda shall be reviewed. \n> Only changes in the order of the 
 agenda or removal\n> of items from the agenda are allowed to ensure\n> 
 compliance with the Ralph M. Brown Act.\n> \n> IV.Public Comment \n> At 
 this time, any member of the public who is not a\n> voting college delegate 
 or SSCCC Region III Senator\n> may address the SSCCC Region III Council 
 regarding\n> any issue not on the agenda The length of public\n> comment 
 for each speaker shall not exceed three (3)\n> minutes, unless otherwise 
 decided by the SSCCC\n> Region III Council. Responses from the SSCCC 
 Region\n> III Council are strictly limited during this time. \n> \n> 
 V.Approval of Minutes\n> At this time, the minutes of the April 13th, 
 October\n> 12th, and November 10th meetings of the Region will\n> be 
 reviewed and considered for approval. \n> \n> VI.SSCCC Region III Officers 
 and Senators Reports\n> At this time, the current SSCCC Region III 
 Chair,\n> Vice Chair, Secretary, and Regional Senators shall\n> provide a 
 verbal and/or written report on matters\n> related to their positions and 
 respective duties.\n> A.Chris Eden (College of San Mateo), SSCCC Region\n> 
 III Chair \n> B.SSCCC Region III Vice Chair (vacant)\n> C.Mathew Kaidor 
 (College of San Mateo), SSCCC Region\n> III Secretary\n> D.,SSCCC Region 
 III Treasurer\n> E.Justine Armes (College of San Mateo), SSCCC Region\n> 
 III Senator\n> F.SSCCC Region III Senator (Vacant)\n> \n> \n> VII.Region 
 III Senator Elections\n> At this time the SSCCC Region III will discuss 
 and\n> take action on the election of the two (2) Region\n> III senators 
 for the 2008-2009 fiscal year. The\n> region will hold nominations and 
 interview\n> candidates prior to voting.\n> \n> VIII.Region III 
 Constitution\n> At this time the SSCCC Region III shall conduct a\n> 2nd 
 reading of the current and standing Region III\n> Constitution. Discussion 
 on next steps. The region\n> may take action on rewriting, updating, 
 revising and\n> amending the constitution.\n> \n> IX.Communications with 
 Region III Campus Student\n> Newspapers\n> At this time, Laney College will 
 present their\n> issues on communication in the region. They will be\n> 
 given 15 minutes to present.\n> \n> X.Disabilities Awareness Groups For 
 Students\n> At this time, there will be a 15 minute discussion\n> on: 
 "Building Bridges through Diversity and Unity".\n> New group approved at 
 the Student Senate May 2008\n> Spring General Assembly. Providing and 
 update.\n> \n> XI.Black Caucus of CalSACC: Region III Update\n> At this 
 time, the Black Caucus will have 15 minutes\n> to give an update to the 
 Region.\n> \n> XII.Local College Issues Forum\n> At this time, the region 
 shall act as a support\n> network for students addressing local district\n> 
 and/or college issues. Those local district and/or\n> college issues 
 brought before the SSCCC Region III\n> will be discussed. No action will be 
 taken at this\n> time, though they may be brought back on a future\n> SSCCC 
 Region III agenda as an individual item\n> requiring discussion and/or 
 action. \n> \n> XIII.Adjournment\n> At this time, the SSCCC Region III 
 Chair shall\n> conclude the official public business of the SSCCC\n> Region
