DESCRIPTION:David Benterou, a freshman scholar at UCSC, has a student hearing for this 
 date. It will be decided (by a handful of UCSC administrators, rather than 
 a jury of peers) if David really is responsible for all actions (and future 
 actions) of the tree-sit protest.\n\nDoug Zuidema will be heading this 
 hearing, and has denied David's request to be represented by an attorney, 
 to hold an open hearing, and for the verdict to be decided by a jury of his 
 peers. Instead this unfair and unconstitutional trial will be held behind 
 closed doors.\n\nZUIDEMA WANTS THIS TO BE PRIVATE, BUT IT AFFECTS ALL 
 STUDENTS!\n\nThe location is at the University Inn on Ocean St.\n\nCome 
 rally from 3-5pm to show solidarity.\n\nPlease support David while he
