DESCRIPTION:Du’a Khalil Aswad was a 17 year old girl; she was stoned to death in 
 public in Iraqi Kurdistan last year on April 2007. Since then hundreds more 
 women have been killed for reasons of so “called honour”, A seminar 
 will discuss the rise of honour killings, violence against women, gender 
 apartheid in Kurdistan/Iraq.\n\nPlease join us to commemorate Du’a and 
 many thousands like her who were killed, and stoned to 
 death.\n\nSpeakers:\n\nKayvon-Dokht Shakibaee:  Iranian human and women’s 
 rights activist\n\nSunsara Taylor:   Writer for Revolution newspaper, 
 journalist and women’s rights activist\n\nDr.  Sureya Sayadi:  Human and
