DESCRIPTION:The local Santa Cruz Ron Paul 2008 meetup group is organizing and 
 informational / protest event on 'Tax Day', April 15.\n\nWe hope to 
 stimulate questions and pass out literature about the constitutionality and 
 authority of the IRS, Federal Reserve System and the consequences of these 
 agencies in funding endless wars against humanity, the police state, 
 'inflation tax' which transfers wealth from poor to rich corporations, 
 etc.\n\nWe also want people to know that Ron Paul is still running for 
 President in 2008 and wants to:\n+ Abolish the IRS and Federal Reserve\n+ 
 Abolish the Patriot Act, Dept. of Homeland Security and other aspects of 
 the police state\n+ Immediately end US involvement in wars in Iraq, 
 Afghanistan and everywhere in the world; returning to a non-interventionist 
 foreign policy\n+ Return to a Contitutional currency of gold / silver, 
 abolishing the fiat dollar\n+ Legalize marijuana and other recreational 
 drugs\n+ Generally, return government to one based on the U.S. Constitution 
 and the Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence rather than 
 Executive Order, war, fraud and coercion.\n
