 Poor?”\nWhen: Saturday, April 19th, 8pm\nWhere: Femina Potens, 2219
Market Street (at Sanchez), SF, CA. (Wheelchair accessible venue.)\nCost:
$10-25 sliding scale Pay What You Want!\n\nIt’s tax time, so it’s time
to consider the question: “What Do the Rich Owe the Poor?” Knee pads,
jobs, education, or nothing at all? As we consider this question together,
we’ll look at different rationale for social wellbeing – from
utilitarianism and communism to “trickle down” economic theories. So
come join our community of truth seekers, explore your beliefs about wealth
and worth, and test your ideas about social and economic justice against
experience. \n\nthinkPhilosophy Salons are philosopher moderated,
Socratic-styled discussions on questions of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty.
Not for the faint of heart, these rigorous intellectual workouts will leave
you feeling exercised, and wonder-full! No prior knowledge of philosophy is
 expected or assumed. \n\n\n
