 years\nago.  Since we don't like to repeat films for our regular series, 
 we\nthought it would be a good idea to resurrect some of our past 
 favorites\nat a midnight movie showing (maybe The Third Man in the 
 coming\nweeks?).  If you went to the first GDI screening of Repo Man let 
 us\nknow, and in fact we encourage folks to share stories with 
 each\nother...tales of your punk present or past... other 
 midnight\nmemories... plans for adventure and mayhem and so on. Sit close 
 to each\nother as its bound to get chilly, and away we 
 go...\n\n\nSanta\nCruz Guerilla Drive-In presents\n\n\n\n\nREPO MAN\n\nAT 
 MIDNIGHT- FRIDAY\nAPRIL 11TH\nDUBOIS ST. (HARVEY WEST PARK AREA)\n\nDon't 
 miss the punk rock shorts at 11:45!\n\n\nNow-classic punk fable of Otto, 
 the newly hired repossession man. Off\nbeat film has a little of 
 everything:\n\naction, comedy, urban decay, police drama, mystery, 
 governmental\nconspiracy and even UFO's.\nStory centers on Otto's search 
 for a mysterious Malibu carrying an odd\ncargo.\n\nThe 1984 film draws on 
 the experiences of director Alex Cox, who worked\nbriefly as a repo man in 
 Los Angeles, but soon deviates into the\nsurreal with aliens, the CIA, punk 
 rocker thieves and other strange\ncharacters and situations, all amid a 
 long string of running gags and\nalmost-impossible 
 coincidences.\n\nBRING\nlawn chairs, blankets, pillows, friends, drink, & 
 food to share for\nintermission. Dress warmly.  Donations are greatly 
 appreciated and\ndirectly support\nthe project. (We are currently paying 
 for new equipment.)\n\n\nURBAN WASTELAND LOCATION:  go down River St.- 
 cross Hightway\n1- turn left at Encinal St. (at traffic light) - turn left 
 at Dubois\nSt. (at 2nd stop sign)- we will be in a field on the 
 right\n\n\nSANTA CRUZ GUERILLA DRIVE-IN is an outdoor movie theatre 
 under\nthe stars that springs up unexpectedly in the fields and 
 industrial\nwastelands. Beyond showing great movies and bringing a broad 
 community\ntogether, part of our mission is helping reclaim public space 
 and\nbreaking down this urban
