 los Inmigrantes (ALDI), a community organization composed of Bay Area 
 leaders formed in January 2007 in response to federal raids by Immigration 
 and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in the community. Formed by 
 activists, attorneys, and community leaders, ALDI organizes emergency press 
 conferences, 24-hour legal assistant phone lines, community workshops, 
 meetings with government agencies & politicians, and support for city ID 
 cards and support for immigrants in San Francisco as a sanctuary city.\n\n
