 Our\nmembers include workers, veterans, teachers, students, 
 lawyers,\nimmigrants and immigrant rights activists, environmentalists, and 
 other\nconcerned residents. We invite individuals, as well as 
 representatives\nof groups, interested in working with SBM to attend our 
 monthly\nmeetings held on the first Thursday of each month at the Peace 
 Center.\nAt these meetings, we hear reports, discuss political 
 developments,\nreview objectives, plan events, and coordinate 
 ongoing\nactivities. \n\n\n\n\n      \n      \n      \n      South\nBay 
 Mobilization opposes U.S. interventions that violate rights 
 of\nself-determination at home and abroad. We oppose the\noccupation of 
 Iraq and other wars of economic imperialism being carried\nout or planned 
 in the guise of fighting terrorism.\n\n\n\n\n      \n      \n      \n      
 Activities\n\n\n\n\n      \n      \n      \n      We\norganize and 
 participate in public lectures and movies, protest\nmarches, picnics, 
 dinners, discussion groups, street theatre, a\ndrumming circle and 
 speak-out twice a month, counter-military\nrecruitment in area high 
 schools, and literature tables at school and\ncommunity events. The SBM 
 website (www.sbm4peace.org)\nhas extensive documentation on global warming 
 and receives\nover a million "hits" per month, with an average of over 
 2000 per day.\nEveryone\nis invited to invest time and funds in SBM in 
 whatever amounts you are\nable to donate. Please join us.\n\n\n\n\n
