DESCRIPTION:Open House for Diablo Valley School.  \n\nDiablo Valley School is a 
 private, non-profit school fostering democracy, community responsibility, 
 equality, self-reliance and individual accountability.  We achieve this by 
 providing an environment where children are responsible for their own 
 learning and are allowed complete intellectual freedom.  Students are 
 allowed full participation in the school's decision making through a 
 democratic process.   Students learn to become leaders of their own lives 
 and powerful participants in the greater community in a way that respects 
 the rights of other individuals and the community as a whole.  \n\nWe admit 
 students from ages 5 to19.  We operate a sliding scale tuition and seek to 
 make Diablo Valley School available to all families.  We are four blocks 
 from Concord BART.\n\nOpen House Saturday March 15, 2008 11am-2pm.\n\nMeet 
 parents, students and staff.  Refreshments served.  Bring the whole family!
