DESCRIPTION:This awareness event is in response to the UC's inappropriate targeting of 
 its students for showing their support for a protest that occurred in 
 November 2007, five months ago.\n\nCruz Molina and David Benterou, two UC 
 Santa Cruz Students, are being named in a broad and vague lawsuit brought 
 by the UC Regents and are being threatened with suspensions, all as a way 
 to silence further expression and dissent of UC practices.\n\nThe UC claims 
 to support a safe learning environment and community, but contradicts 
 itself in attacking those who draw attention to its flaws.\n\n\nTo target 
 one of us is to target all of us.\n\n\nDEFEND FREE SPEECH!\nDEFEND STUDENT 
 RIGHTS!\nDROP THE SANCTIONS!\n
