DESCRIPTION:A Critical Resistance discussion series is starting up in Santa Cruz. It 
 starts this Thursday at the Louden Nelson Community Center (301 Center St. 
 Downtown Santa Cruz). We'll start around 7:15 pm and go til about 
 9:15.\n\nThis month's event will be an Introduction to the prison 
 industrial complex and Abolition. Rather than being a lecture or talk, this 
 event will be more like a workshop/discussion, a chance for people to 
 become more familiar with the work CR does and ask questions/converse about 
 the prison industrial complex. \n\nThe series will continue every third 
 Thursday of each month until May, and we're still looking for folks to work 
 with us and participate in facilitating other events/workshops/discussion 
 in the series. So, if you're interested, curious, or already involved, it'd
