 staff as results file in from the dead heat contest between Obama and his 
 major opponents New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and former North 
 Carolina Sen. John Edwards.\n\nThe Tosca's party is the first of two local 
 campaign events this week. A major rally is scheduled Friday at noon in San 
 Francisco's Civic Center, in front of City Hall.\n\nObama's overwhelming 
 popularity in the Bay Area caught city officials by surprise last November 
 when 7000 showed up to attend the candidate's apperance at the Bill Graham 
 Civic Auditorium.\n
