 Hotline.\nThis is what you’ll do:\n\n*  Listen to people in the military 
 who call the hotline number\n*  Help them explore their options\n*  Provide 
 information on military regulations about release from the military\n*  
 Provide information about the consequences of going AWOL and UA\n*  Provide 
 advocacy and support for all discharges\n*Provide support and referrals for 
 callers experiencing harassment and assault\n\nYou will receive training 
 and the support of experienced counselors.\n\nDo you speak Spanish?  Our 
 Spanish-speaking callers would appreciate being able to talk with

 and Hotline client:\nIn November 2004 Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Pablo 
 Paredes, then 23, refused to board a troop ship headed for the Persian 
 Gulf. “I refuse to go,” he told officers. “"I feel in my mind and 
 heart that this war is illegal and immoral." In May 2005 he was 
 court-martialed and sentenced to 3 months hard labor. He was denied 
 conscientious objector status. “It's no exaggeration to say that I could 
 not have done this without the support of the hotline.”  It's no 
 exaggeration to say that it would not have come to be without the support
