DESCRIPTION:*Reminder: Holiday Party Protest for Tainted, Inc. Tomorrow, Friday, \nDec. 
 14th at 9:00am in Front of the Oakland Federal Building!*\n\nPlease come 
 out and show your support for the four former Tainted Inc. \nemployees.  On 
 September 26, 2007, the DEA raided five locations in \nOakland and San 
 Leandro, allegedly confiscating hundreds of edibles and \n460 plants, and 
 arresting Jessica Sanders (30), Michael Anderson (42), \nand Diallo McLinn 
 (35). After a press conference on October 4, Michael \nMartin (33), who had 
 been on vacation during the raid, voluntarily \nturned himself in. All four 
 are charged with conspiracy to manufacture \nor distribute controlled 
 substances and are out on bail. Tainted Edibles \nwere available for 
 patients as an alternative to smoking at dispensing \ncollectives across 
 the state.\n\n*Please note: * The protest will happen right before the 
 Tainted \nplaintiffs' pre-trial hearing.  Following the protest, we will 
 all go in \nfor the hearing.  After the hearing supporters are encouraged 
 to go to \nthe Bulldog, who will be hosting a Free Tainted bake sale 
 fundraiser. \nPlease come show your support!  _*We are unsure whether or 
 not the \nhearing is still happening, but that is all the more reason to 
 show up \non time at 9:00am and be prepared to go to the hearing.

 \nencouraged to bring holiday-themed signs, costumes, and even puppets.
