DESCRIPTION:One year ago Santa Cruz city voters approved Measure K, an initiative 
 establishing adult marijuana offenses as the lowest priority for city 
 police.\n\nMeasure K, which makes “investigations, citations, arrests, 
 property seizures, and prosecutions for adult marijuana offenses” that do 
 not occur on public property “the lowest law enforcement priority for the 
 city of Santa Cruz.”\n\nThis measure also created the Measure K Oversight 
 Committee.  The Committee’s charge includes issuing regular reports to 
 the Santa Cruz City Council on the implementation of this ordinance.  To 
 this end, the Committee would like to invite everyone, especially those who 
 feel they have been subjected to law enforcement activity contrary to this 
 measure, to attend the Oversight Committee’s next meeting.  The meeting 
 will be held on December 18th at 5:30 pm., at the Santa Cruz City
