DESCRIPTION:Teach-In - The Jena Six Situation\nSaturday, November 10, 2007\nEvergreen 
 Valley College Gym\n\nEVERGREEN VALLEY COLLEGE is hosting this 
 event.\nSeating for the Teach-In will begin at 10:00 a.m.\nand the panels 
 will start at 11:00 a.m. sharp.\n\nThe Teach-In will provide a great 
 opportunity for\nstudents and a protest, put into a formal 
 document,\nagainst what has/is transpiring in Jena. The Formal\nDocument 
 that will be submitted to the proper\nauthorities in Louisiana and 
 Washington D.C. The\nformal document would include requesting removal 
 of\nthe Judge and the District Attorney in Jena Six\ncases as well as 
 reprimanding them (as in the case\nof the District Attorney in the Duke 
 Lacrosse case).\n\nThe panels will consist of criminal defense 
 and\nconstitutional rights attorneys, social scientists,\neducators, 
 Ministers, Civil Rights workers, the\nHuman Relations Commissioner for 
 Santa Clara County\nand a Forensic/Clinical Psychologist.\n\nOur major need 
 is for co-sponsors to finance the\ntravel, lodging and food for two of the 
 Jena Six\nparents, one attorney and Rev. Moran to attend this\nevent. We 
 will also need sponsors that will\ndistribute the news of this event 
 widely.\n\nThe situation in Jena is very serious. Immediate\naction is 
 needed to address that which is being\nreported and that which is not being 
 reported at\nall. We hope to have an immediate impact on Jena\nand a 
 lasting impact on Society as a whole for the\nfuture.\n\nThe Jena six 
 families, Rev. Moran and Legal Counsel\nstate that they need immediate help 
 in the Court\nRoom with the Judge and the District Attorney. A\nJena Six 
 Defense Fund has been set up. Donations\ncan be given to the Jena Six 
 representatives at\nthis event on November 10th. The students and 
 their\nfamilies are pleading for help.\n\n\n(Coordinated by the 
 Multi-Ethnic Coalition of\nConcerned Citizens and Organizations. To
