 Versus\nCORPORATE RULE......0 \n\nIn 2006, a group called Democracy
Unlimited in Humboldt County California did something revolutionary; they
passed a law that limited the power of not just one corporation but all
corporations in their county. Known as measure T, the law bans
out-of-county corporations from participating in the electoral process.
Their campaign is part of a growing effort nationally to challenge
corporate power locally, reinvigorate democracy and place human interests
above corporate profit.\n \n-- Listen to their story --\n-- Discuss
