 week of\nnew works highlights the deep roster of Living Word artists, many 
 of\nthem Youth Speaks staff members. These shows - some being heard 
 for\nthe first time - will bring you spoken word art in production. 
 This\nunique fusion of spoken word with elements of hip-hop, 
 experimental\ntheatre, and visual arts is performed by some of this

 pieces\n\nCarlos Aguirre The Tell Tale Heart\nA freestyle story, rap and 
 sonic journey into the terror of the tell\ntale heart as created and 
 performed by MC Infinite with text, loop\nstation and beats.\n\nTommy 
 Shepherd The MF in ME\nThe longtime Hybrid Project pillar and Campo Santo 
 actor creates his\nfirst solo show, telling the story of how he follows the 
 beats inside\nhim and reacts to the rhythms around him.\n\nDan Wolf Angry 
 Black White Boy, from the book by Adam Mansbach\nInspired by the book The 
 New York Times Book Review says "captures\nvividly the inhuman sadism 
 inherent to racial violence," this solo\nwork grabs white guilt and racism 
 in a chokehold.\n\nRadio Active She's Alive\nNew first time theatrical work 
 from the groundbreaking hip-hop MC and\nbeatboxer whose work has rocked 
 crowds across the globe both as part\nof the band Spearhead and as a solo

 Arranged\nA new theatre piece created by Resident Theatre Company Campo 
 Santo\nand Sean San José from the story The Small Boys? Unit from 
 Johnson?s\nbook Seek\n\nTHREE NIGHTS ONLY!\nDecember 6, 7 & 8  $10-$25

 meet\nthe dictator Charles Taylor during the height of the civil wars 
 in\nLiberia. The assignment, relived here, culminated in Johnson being 
 led\nto one of infamous and horrifying "Small Boys' Units" - armies 
 of\nyoung boys trained and armed for war.\n\nThis evening will also feature 
 a performance of unpublished interviews\non the Sudan civil wars culled by 
 the newest publishing imprint from\nMcSweeney's, Voice of Witness.\n\nTo
