DESCRIPTION:Leafletting at Caltrain Stations \n\nWe had great success in reaching
commuters on September 21st, the first Iraq Moratorium day. We gave out
leaflets and black ribbons at Mountain View, California Avenue, Palo Alto,
Redwood City, and San Carlos. We got a lot of support from train riders and
all those who participated agreed to continue on October 19. We want to
extend our efforts from San Jose to San Francisco. Already San Mateo and
Hillsdale will be included, and possibly Belmont and Burlingame.\n\nThis
effort requires two people (or four where there is also a bus depot) to
distribute the leaflets and ribbons between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m.\n\nPlease
let us know if you can leaflet at a Caltrain station near you.\n\nThis
event is part of the Iraq Moratorium project, an escalating monthly series
of actions demanding an end to the war. Starting on Friday, September 21
and on the third Friday of every month thereafter, individuals and groups
across the U.S. will take the time to show our President and Congress that
our troops must be brought home, now! Sign the pledge at
