 2, fourteen people were arrested in Suchitoto, El Salvador for protesting 
 against the privatization of water.  13 of them are now being tried as 
 TERRORISTS. Under the new "anti-terrorism law", they could face 60 years in 
 jail for the act of protest. (read more at www.cispes.org)\n\nCISPES is 
 mobilizing a National Week of Action in solidarity with the start of their 
 trial. Join us on Tuesday, October 9 to demand:\n\n-Drop all charges 
 against the Suchitoto-13. Organizing is not a crime.\n\n-Stop the 
 privatization of water. Water is a human right!\n\n-Repeal the 
 anti-terrorism law immediately!\n\nThe trial starts next week so it is a 
 critical time to mobilize. As we know from the leftist social movement 
 sweeping Latin America, there is strength in numbers!\n\nTuesday, October 9 
 at 12 noon. Rally and press conference at the Salvadoran Consulate, 507 
 Polk Street (at Golden Gate) in San Francisco. Let's magnify our voices and 
 get our demands directly to the Salvadoran government.\n\nPlease call us 
 and let us know if you can participate or give a statement of solidarity to 
 our compañeros and compañeras.\n\nIf you can't make it on Tuesday, please

 policía salvadoreña arrestó a 14 personas en Suchitoto, El Salvador por 
 participar en una manifestación en contra de la privatización de agua.

 gobierno les puede encarcelar por 60 años.\n\nCISPES está mobilizando una
