 Informational Picket for a Just Contract for AFSMCE Workers\nWhen: Thursday 
 Sept. 27th 3:00-5:00pm\nWhere: Bay Tree Bookstore Plaza\n\nAFSCME is 
 holding actions throughout the UC system this Thursday to kick off our 
 campaign for a just settlement in our next contract for service and 
 patient-care workers. We are gearing up to fight this year until we win a 
 sound salary step system based on longevity at market rate wages along with 
 our ongoing fight to stop healthcare and pension takeaways mid-contract. 
 This is a fight for justice - for fair standards that enable UCSC workers 
 to sustain themselves and their families without needing second and third
