DESCRIPTION:Urban Landscapes and Underscapes\nAt Artisans Art Gallery\n\nUrban 
 Landscapes and Underscapes, a regional juried urban landscape exhibition, 
 will open October 2nd at Artisans Art Gallery .  The Artists’ Reception 
 will be Saturday, October 13th  from 5 – 8pm. \nThematically exploring 
 the urban landscapes that we traverse daily, from unnoticed details of 
 graffiti to shoes hanging on a telephone wire, the light glinting off of 
 buildings at sunset, lines of people standing, waiting for their morning 
 coffee, a plant growing through the cracks in the sidewalk, this juried 
 exhibit will feature oil paintings, monoprints and etchings, photography 
 and mixed media. \n	Voted “Best Art Gallery in Marin” for 2006 and 
 2007, Artisans is one of Northern California’s oldest (at age 30) and 
 most innovative nonprofit art galleries.  As an affordable, contemporary 
 art gallery, Artisans boasts work of both emerging and 
 internationally-exhibited artists with collections that include oil, 
 gouache, prints, pastel, ink, charcoal, photography, ceramics, sculpture,
