DESCRIPTION:*Español abajo*\n\nTo all supporters of immigrants' rights:\n\nIn the past 
 few months, undocumented immigrant workers have come under attack from all 
 sides, with an alarming increase in raids and deportations.  On top of 
 this, ICE has announced that it will begin sending letters through the 
 Social Security administration regarding "no-match" Social Security 
 numbers.  Employers would have to confirm their employee's numbers "match" 
 within 30 to 90 days of receiving such a letter.  As a result, it is 
 estimated that as many as a million undocumented immigrants could lose 
 their jobs. \n\nA call has been made by "Movimiento 10 de Marzo" in Chicago 
 to coordinate a national day of action on October 12.  We consider that San 
 Francisco and the greater Bay Area should take up this call and organize 
 actions against these attacks on the rights of immigrant workers - attacks 
 that affect all of us, no matter where we were born. We invite all 
 organizations and individuals that support the struggle of immigrant 
 workers to join us in planning for October 12.\n\nA meeting will take place 
 on:\n\nWednesday, September 19th at 7 p.m.\n522 Valencia St. 3rd floor 
 (close to 16th and mission Bart)\n\nCome and join us in this struggle!  An 
 injury to one is an injury to all!\n\nNo to the "no-match" letters!\nStop

 simpatizantes por los derechos de los inmigrantes:\n\nEn los últimos 
 meses, los trabajadores inmigrantes indocumentados han venido bajo ataque 
 de todos lados, con un aumento alarmante en incursiones y deportaciones. 
 Encima de esto, el ICE ha anunciado que comenzará a enviar cartas a 
 través de la administración del Seguridad Social con respecto a números 
 de Seguridad Social “no-mach” (números de seguro social que no 
 concuerdan con la base de datos de la administración). Los patrones 
 tendrían que confirmar los números de seguro de su empleado(a)  en el 
 plazo de 30 a 90 días de recibir tal carta. Consecuentemente, casi un  
 millón de inmigrantes indocumentados podrían perder sus trabajos.\n\nUn 
 llamado ha sido hecho por “Movimiento 10 de Marzo” en Chicago para 
 coordinar un día de acción nacional para el 12 de octubre. Consideramos 
 que San Francisco y la área de la bahía en general debe tomar esta 
 llamada y organizar acciones contra estos ataques a los derechos de los 
 trabajadores inmigrantes -  ataques que afectan todos nosotros, no 
 importando dónde nacimos. Invitamos a todas las organizaciones e 
 individuos que apoyen la lucha de los trabajadores inmigrantes para unirnos
