 yogi. \n\nADMISSION: FREE\nOn Saturday, September 22,  the new Center for 
 Urban Peace will launch its Grand Re/Opening to leverage widely popular 
 awareness-based tools of meditation, yoga and other self-sustainability 
 practices on behalf of social justice activists and change agents while 
 serving as the Berkeley hub for the Global Mala Project, a world-wide 
 fundraising event coinciding with the UN International Peace Day. The new 
 Center for Urban Peace is committed to bringing teachings, practices and 
 skills that develop the awareness and presence necessary to build a 
 cohesive, sustainable social justice movement in the SF Bay Area and 
 nationally.\n\nThe evening’s program will begin from 5pm to 6:30 with 
 yoga and meditation, followed by an introduction by Founder and Spiritual 
 Director for the Center for Urban Peace, Rev. angel Kyodo williams, author 
 of the critically acclaimed book, Being Black: Zen and the Art of Living 
 With Fearlessness and Grace. She will be joined by Aqeela Sherrills, 
 activist, Founder and President of Community Self Determination Institute 
 and Founder of the Reverence Movement and local spoken word poet, Founder 
 of Poets for Global Justice, drew dellinger, whose poetry seeks justice 
 where there is none.\n\nThe Grand Re/Opening will take place on Saturday, 
 Sept 22nd from 5pm to 9pm at the new Center for Urban Peace located at 2584
