 at the Woodfin Suites Hotel have been struggling for a year to win their 
 rights under Emeryville's living wage law, while hotel managers have 
 stalled endlessly in turning over wage records to the city. In June, the 
 City of Emeryville finally ordered the hotel to pay workers about $250,000 
 in back wages. But instead of paying up, the hotel got a pricey anti-union 
 law firm to appeal the order. On August 27th, the city of Emeryville will 
 hold a hearing to consider the Woodfin's appeal and make a decision about 
 how much the hotel must pay its workers, and when.\n\nRally at 6pm to
