 pm\nShowing the new feature "Giuliani Time"\n\nKevin Keating’s chilling 
 documentary examines Giuliani’s rise to power,\nhis policies and his 
 so-called turnaround of New York City. Interviewing\njournalists, 
 activists, legal experts, and many of the city’s poor,\n“Giuliani 
 Time” reveals that while the Mayor touted his Broken Windows,\nQuality of 
 Life and Zero Tolerance policies, the reality on the streets\nwas police 
 brutality, violations of the First Amendment and racist\nactions.\n\nThen 
 9/11 happened and Giuliani’s actions endeared him forever to\nAmericans. 
 Should we allow that to overshadow the darker moments of 
 his\nadministration?\n\n\nPOOR magazine is a literary, visual arts based 
 community organization\nfounded by a previously homeless, currently 
 at-risk, mother daughter team.\nPOOR provides vocational training, creative 
 arts and literacy education,\nnew and multi-media access to very low and no 
 income adults and children\nin the Bay Area, with the goal of 
 deconstructing the margins of class and\nrace oppression.\n\nPart of an 
 ongoing monthly series showcasing radical films and supporting\nlocal 
 organizing. Films are shown on the patio at El Rio every month.\n\nEvent is 
 free, but donations accepted. Space is wheelchair accessible, 
 but\nbathrooms are not. 21 and over. For more information, please
