DESCRIPTION:SAVE THE LARK!\nLark Theater is Nearly Out of the Dark\n\nWe closed escrow 
 on the theater building on Thursday June 14 by getting a short term bridge 
 loan. This means we own the building. However, in order to get an 
 affordable mortgage, we need to raise additional funds of at least $35,000 
 additional by August 10.\nWe are almost there, the community has been very 
 supportive and the monies have been coming in, but we are not out of the 
 dark until we complete this fundraising push. Every contribution 
 counts.\n\nOver two months ago we were looking at raising $400,000 and now 
 after 650 people responded with donations ranging from $5 to $100,000, and 
 with the help of the Marin IJ we are at the final $35,000.\n\n\n\nThat is a 
 remarkable achievement and shows how dedicated volunteers and community can 
 come together and get the job done. Now all we need is for that level of 
 response to continue over the next few weeks.\n\n\nTo donate or for
