 Making Waves and Youth Speaks will\nbring together hundreds of young 
 people, community organizers and artists\nto SF State. The Summit is FREE 
 and provides panels and workshops on\nsocial justice, ethnic studies, 
 hip-hop culture and health awareness\nfollowed by an Arts Festival 
 featuring conscious Bay Area performers, DJs\nand artists.\n\nThis year the 
 Summit is focused on reclaiming borders and shedding light\non divisive 
 practices that are aimed at breaking down our communities.\nThrough 
 workshops, art and performance, the goal of the Summit is to\nchallenge 
 youth to think critically and consciously about their own\ncommunities and 
 the world around them and to take an active role in being\npart of the
