DESCRIPTION:Roaming Hookerfest\nThe Roaming Hookerfest is a traveling outdoor caravan 
 of sex workers \nbringing the films to the street. This first-ever Roaming 
 Hookerfest \nwas developed by Festival co-director, Erica Berman (AKA 
 Fabulous). \nFabulous wanted the festival to reach out past the usual 
 crowds so \nshe created this guerilla art event. On Friday night of the 
 festival \nwe will be driving a movie van with films and safer sex 
 materials to \nalleyways throughout San Francisco. We will be showing a 
 half hour of \nexcerpts and short films highlighting the festival. We will 
 post the \nlocations and the list of movies at our site at:

 Folsom at 9 PM for an elegant soiree on the \nstreets. Dress up or dress 
 down! Join our caravan afterwards for a \nparty at Lipo Lounge, Red Lit 
 Dance Nite with DJ Bent in Chinatown.  \nDrink, eat Chinese food and 
 discuss 'sex worker sinema' with sex \nworkers from around the 
 country.\n\nThe movies we will screen focus on entertainment for sex 
 workers on \nthe street including The Aphrodite Project by Norene Leddy 
 which \npresents magical hooker platforms, designed for the street hookers 
 of \nthe future,  and Jyanta Meetei's Street Survivor a precious portrait 
 \nof a Taiwanese street hooker, her time and the cop who arrested
