 Novick and Seth Clark\n\n\n\nCome\nhear Pablo Paredes talk about how he was 
 recruited into the Navy, how and why he\nbecame a conscientious objector, 
 why he refused to board a ship that would take\nMarines to Iraq, his court 
 martial and sentence, and why he has marched 241\nmiles and spoken at over 
 200 high schools since his discharge.\n\n\nPablo\nis now working on a 
 fellowship at the San Francisco office of the American\nFriends Service 
 Committee (AFSC), advising volunteers for the G.I. Rights\nHotline, 
 handling calls, doing counter-recruitment work in schools and colleges\nand 
 designing an amazing “wiki” to help counselors locate resources 
 quickly.\n\n\nThis\nparty is to help fund Pablo’s fellowship during the 
 next four months and to\nhelp establish a new East Bay location for the 
 G.I. Rights Hotline. \n\n\n\nRefreshments,\nconversation, raffle.  Short
