DESCRIPTION:Our purpose of protesting is to let the people of Santa Cruz county know 
 what they are eating and what they are doing to the health of their own 
 bodies. Each piece of chicken has ammonia and hormones packed in it. Every 
 time they buy a bucket of chicken they are contributing to torture. If 
 these acts were committed to dogs or cats, they would be a felony, but 
 there are no laws protecting chickens welfare in this country. People tend 
 to just think of chickens as stupid birds, but they easily have an 
 intelligence level of a dog or cat and an infant child. No matter what 
 their intelligence level, they feel torture and pain. All that we are 
 asking of KFC is that they adopt the most bare minimum humane standards for 
 their warehouses. \nWe are just a group of local activists and friends that 
 meet every Tuesday night from 5-7:30 pm outside the Mission Street KFC and 
 protest. We provide everything needed, bullhorn, signs, fliers, rubber 
 chickens and a bloody butchers uniform. just bring yourself every Tuesday!
