 time, the Pentagon has sponsored the invasion and occupation of Somalia by 
 its allies in the region like Ethiopia and Uganda. U.S. military forces 
 have bombed and shelled Somalia in the name of the “war on terrorism,” 
 causing additional suffering in one of the poorest countries on the 
 planet.\n\nWhat is Washington’s real aim in the region? How are the
