DESCRIPTION:The Santa Cruz Peace Chorale invites you to join us for our annual concert, 
 “Alive & Singing!” an evening of songs dedicated to the struggle for 
 peace and justice. This year’s concert will also feature a special treat: 
 homemade organic strawberry shortcake, made with locally-grown berries.  
 Founded in 2002 by a small group of folks in response to the impending call 
 to invade Iraq, the Peace Chorale has evolved into a wonderful mixed-voice 
 community chorus that performs throughout the year at a wide variety of 
 local and regional events. Unlike many choirs, the Peace Chorale holds no 
 auditions and all are welcomed. The result is a diverse group of singers 
 who support each other in strength, spirit and harmony! \n\nDonation 
 requested:  This annual fundraising event is your chance to find out more 
 about the musical mission of the Peace Chorale. Join us for harmonious 
 inspiration & delectable strawberry shortcake! Doors open at 7pm; concert
