 Name!\n\nOn Wednesday, May 9, 14 students at UC Santa Cruz, and a total of 
 41 students and alumni across the UC system, embarked on a hunger strike in 
 protest of the University of California's involvement in the research and 
 design of nuclear weapons. The huger strikers are demanding that the UC 
 Regents pass a resolution to severe ties with Los Alamos and Lawrence 
 Livermore National Laboratories, which are managed by a limited liability 
 corporation comprised of the UC, Bechtel National, and other private 
 companies. \n\nThe hunger strikes will bring their demands to the UC 
 Regents meeting at UC San Francisco on May 17.\n\n\n
