 Volunteer!\nrepost:\n\nP.O.W.E.R Is Turning 10!!\n\nHelp POWER members, 
 family and friends celebrate 10 years of fighting for low-wage and no-wage 
 workers’ rights in some of the most marginalized workplaces in the Bay 
 Area.\n\nSaturday May 12th will be the first in a series of celebrations 
 highlighting 10 years of POWER’s commitment to building the 
 organizational power of low-income people in San Francisco. The event will 
 be at the Bay View Opera House, from 1-4pm, and the efforts of folks 
 volunteering in solidarity will make this a memorable celebration.\n\nI is 
 DOWN TO THE WIRE!!!  We need help!!\n\nSet up (decorating/moving): Meet at 
 POWER at 10am and help load-up and then set up the event\nDrivers for 
 member shuttles: Day of: Noon, 12:30 and 1pm Food Servers: Day of 
 (1-4pm)\nClean-up/ Tear down: Day of (4-5pm)\nChildcare at the event 
 (1-4pm)\nRegistration: 12:30-3pm\n\nWe need as many volunteers as possible

 its 10th year, POWER continues to build the power of low-income people in 
 San Francisco to improve the conditions in their communities and in their 
 workplaces.\n\nThe backbone of POWER’s work are our two organizing 
 projects: the Bayview Organizing Project, which unites low-income residents 
 of San Francisco’s last-remaining African American neighborhood in a 
 fight for affordable housing, living wage employment and environmental

 community; and the Women Workers’ Project which organizes domestic 
 workers who are mostly immigrant and women of color to win justice in an
