 Commons\n\nWHAT:  There will be 20% Strike Tabling outside of the Golden 
 Bear Café (Sproul Plaza) as part of the May Day events occurring on 
 campus.\n\nIn the evening, student workers and their supporters will be 
 holding an informational picket outside Crossroads Dining Commons to bring 
 attention to their struggle.  There will also be a 20% Strike Tabling 
 inside the Crossroads Dining Commons, to make up for the 20% difference in 
 pay and gather signatures.\n\nWHEN: Monday, April 30, 2007\n\n20% Strike 
 Tabling outside Golden Bear Café (Sproul Plaza), 11am-1pm\n\nInformational 
 Picketing and 20% Strike at Crossroads Dining Commons (Channing Way and 
 Bowditch St.), 5:30-8pm\n	   \nWHO: UC Berkeley student food service 
 workers and their supporters who feel that it is unfair for Cal students to 
 be paid over $2 less per hour than their coworkers doing the same 
 job.\n\nStudent Worker Action Group (SWAG) is an organization formed by UC 
 Berkeley student food services workers.  This week it is holding a series 
 of public events to bring attention the fact that Cal students working for 
 Cal Dining are paid over $2 less per hour than their coworkers (starting 
 wages are $9.11/hr and $11.25/hr), and to call for pay equity at UC 
 Berkeley.\n \nWHERE:  Golden Bear Café (Sproul Plaza) and Crossroads 
 Dining Commons (Channing Way and Bowditch St.).\n\nSTAND UP AND FIGHT FOR 
 SOMETHING: “EQUAL PAY TODAY!”\n\n20% Strike at Golden Bear Café
