DESCRIPTION:CAL STUDENT WORKER BLITZ WEEK\n\nWHAT: Student Worker Action Group (SWAG), 
 an organization formed by UC Berkeley student food services workers, is 
 having a series of public events bring attention the fact that Cal students 
 working for Cal Dining are paid over $2 less per hour than their coworkers, 
 and to call for pay equity at UC Berkeley.\n\nWHEN: Monday, April 30, 2007 
 through Friday May 4, 2007.  A more detailed schedule follows.\n\nWHO: UC 
 Berkeley student food service workers and their supporters who feel that it 
 is unfair for Cal students to be paid over $2 less per hour than their 
 coworkers doing the same job.\n\nWHERE:  UC Berkeley Dining Commons and 
 Campus Restaurants, including Foothill (2700 Hearst Ave), Clark Kerr 
 (Warring St.), Crossroads (Channing Way and Bowditch St.), Unit 3 (Durant 
 Ave and Dana St.) and Golden Bear Café (Sproul Plaza), as well as Sproul 
 Plaza.\n\nSTAND UP AND FIGHT FOR SOMETHING: “EQUAL PAY, 
 TODAY!”\n\nMONDAY : Informational picketing outside of Foothill Dining 
 Commons (corner Hearst Ave and Gayley Rd./La Loma Ave), 5:30-7pm\n\n20% 
 Strike at Crossroads Dining Commons, 5-8PM\n\n \n\nTUESDAY: 20% Strike 
 Tabling at Golden Bear Café, 11-1pm\n\n20% Strike at Crossroads and 
 Foothill Dining Commons, 5-8pm.\n\nInformational Picketing outside 
 Crossroads (corner of Channing Way and Bowditch St.), 5:30pm-7pm\n\n 
 \n\nWEDNESDAY: SPECIAL SURPRISE AT GOLDEN BEAR CAFÉ (SPROUL PLAZA), 
 12pm-1pm\n\nInformational Picketing outside of Unit 3 DC (corner of Durant 
 Ave and Dana St.),  5:30-7pm.\n\n\nTHURSDAY: Informational Picketing
