 behavior toward the people\nof San Jose. 6 people including activists 
 from\nparticipating organizations and a musical performer\nwere arrested at 
 Story and King in Eastside San Jose\nwhere the Copwatch to

 Cinco de Mayo, join San Jose residents in a\nCopwatch to:\n-defend the 
 right to observe and record police\nactivity\n-hold police accountable for 
 any abuse of the Mexican\ncommunity as they celebrate the struggles and 
 dignity\nof their people\n-build the movement for police 
 accountability\n\n\nSchedule:\n\nSaturday April 28, 11am-2pm @ Grassroots 
 House 2022\nBlake St, Berkeley: Know Your Rights Training. Learn\nyour 
 rights when interacting with the police. Free and\nopen to the public. A 
 good chance for Berkeley folks\nto refresh their rights before Copwatching 
 on the 5th.\nThis is not solely for Cinco de Mayo Copwatchers.\n\nSunday 
 April 29th 3pm-6pm @ Pages in Color 888 East\nSanta Clara St. San Jose: 
 Know Your Rights Training.\nLearn your rights when interacting with the 
 police.\nFree and open to the public. Preparation/refreshment\nfor Cinco de 
 Mayo Copwatching. Will also include a\ndiscussion on strategy for 
 the\n5th.\n\nThursday May 3rd, 9pm @ (email svdebug@newamericamedia.org for 
 location)  Copwatch practice in Downtown San Jose. \n\nSaturday May 5th, 
 4pm @ intersection of Story and King\nin Eastside San Jose (in front of 
 Ritmo Latino):\nPress Conference regarding Night's Activities as well\nas 
 last year's police harrassment and the legal status\nof the 
 arrestees.\n\nSaturday May 5th, 8pm @ intersection of Story and King\nin 
 Eastside San Jose: Convergence for evening's\nCopwatching. Bring your 
 friends, camcorders, cameras,\nand audio recorders. First timers are 
 welcome and will be teamed up with experienced Copwatchers. Teams departing
