 will discuss the influences that led to the development of the installation 
 and share their story of working with the fascinating photographic archive 
 of Beirut's Arab Image Foundation. El-Ariss, born in Beirut and now living 
 in New York, will debut and discuss his video work about longing for home 
 and family and the desire for security from afar. All three will engage in 
 a conversation about the role that photography plays in cross-cultural 
 dialogue today.\n\n
