DESCRIPTION:Have you heard of the City Repair project originated in Portland? In a 
 nutshell, the project involves bringing people together to transform public 
 spaces into community gathering places—-a collective process of 
 reclaiming the commons. As the project grows, and chapters develop in other 
 cities such as Seattle and San Diego, a conversation has been initiated 
 about what city repair –like projects exist in Santa Cruz. At the same 
 time, the City of SC is seeking input for their General Plan, a blueprint 
 for future planning and community development. \n\nWe will air the film 
 “The City Repair Project: Transforming Space Into Place,” (14m) and are 
 inviting folks from other City Repair projects and the SC Planning and 
 Community Development Department to join us for a Café Conversation. World 
 Café is an easy method for inviting constructive dialogue around questions
